Delegated Access

  • Updated

You can add executive assistants, chiefs of staff, or anyone else you’d like to have access to your account. Delegates have full access to your account, including adding, editing, and removing people and notes. Delegated access can be removed at any time.

  1. Go to the Profile Icon in the top right, then Settings or type ,
  2. Under Members, click "Add Member" and enter the email address of the person you want to have access to your account. Note that the email address should not correspond to an existing Clay account — if it does, you can usually enter a plus sign and then a word to make your email unique. For example, if zach@clay.earth belongs to an existing Clay account, you can add zach+teammember@clay.earth to give access.
  3. That person will receive an email to log in.

Each person you add will be able to see what you see in Clay—Cards, Notes, Reminders, Moments, etc., but they won’t be able to see things like email body since Clay doesn't have permission to view that.

ℹ️ You can revoke access at any time, and the person will be automatically logged out.
