Model Context Protocol (MCP) Support

We're excited to announce Clay's new official support for Model Context Protocol (MCP). MCP is an open standard designed to connect AI systems to various data sources and tools, simplifying how they access and use external information. We're bringing MCP capabilities to Clay, letting AI assistants like Claude work directly with your network.

Clay's MCP integration enhances Nexus and lets you use Clay alongside other tools. You can search your network, get contact details, view communication history, and help with outreach—all while keeping full control of your data.

With Clay MCP, you can now:

  • Ask "Who are my contacts at Google that I haven't spoken to in 6 months?" and get immediate results
  • Say "Create a note for Sarah about our coffee chat today" without opening Clay
  • Request "Add all my engineering contacts to a new 'Tech Talent' group" and have it done automatically

To get started, visit our documentation to install the MCP, connect your Clay account, and add it to Claude or other MCP-compatible apps. We've also put together a quick demo on how to install and use the Clay MCP:

Make.com integration now live

Our Make integration has been approved and is now live on the Make App Store! More documentation is also available here in the Clay Library.
