Building a more personalized Clay experience for everyone

As we enter into 2025, we have so many exciting new things we can't wait to share with you.

Pronouns

We've added the ability to add personalized gender pronouns to contact profiles in Clay.

Adding pronouns to a contact's profile is simple and optional. When viewing any profile, you can add pronouns in Edit > Profile that will appear alongside their name throughout Clay. Like all information in Clay, pronouns can be updated anytime to ensure profiles stay current and accurate.

The feature is available now across iOS, Mac, Windows, and web.

In Memoriam

We're releasing a thoughtful way to remember and honor those who are no longer with us. When viewing any profile, you can now designate a contact as passed away and record their date of passing in Edit > Profile.

You can also optionally choose to receive a gentle annual memorial notification on the anniversary of their passing. These memorialized profiles remain a permanent part of Clay while being handled with appropriate care throughout the app.

Improved VoiceOver Support for iOS

We've made significant improvements to VoiceOver support in Clay for iOS, making the app more accessible for members who rely on screen readers.

This update allows for better navigation throughout the app, including enhanced support for contact cards, profile updates in the Home view, search results, and tab navigation.

These improvements include clearer labeling of navigation elements, better section descriptions, and improved interaction with core features like contact cards, buttons, and filters.

While there's always more work to do, this update represents an important step in our ongoing commitment to make Clay accessible to everyone. The enhanced VoiceOver support is available now in the latest iOS update.
