Clearing a Card

If the information is incorrect and you prefer to remove it altogether, simply click on Clear Profile located on the right sidebar of the card on desktop and under Profile Settings on iOS. This wipes the card so you can add the correct contact info and/or social profiles which Clay will use to gather the correct information based on your connected accounts.

Depending on the email(s) and social profile(s) you submitted and what your integrations are, it can take up to a few minutes to repopulate the card. If Clay doesn't retrieve new information immediately, check back in 5-10 minutes, and it'll be up to date.

Adding Additional Contact Info

You might have additional contact details like email addresses or phone numbers that are not initially displayed on the card. You can add this information under Sources on the right sidebar on desktop or under Sources on the About tab on iOS.

Instant Profile Refreshes

Clay refreshes profile data in the background, but some Clay members have asked for faster ways to refresh data. Now, you can refresh profile info immediately.

On Mac and Windows

  1. Open the card and click the pen icon menu at the top
  2. Under Manage Profile on the right sidebar, click on the Refresh Profile button

On iOS

  1. Open the card and tap Edit on the Action menu
  2. Under Manage Profile, tap on the Refresh Profile button

ℹ️ You'll need to have the Clay LinkedIn integration connected, and the button will only appear for profiles you have a LinkedIn URL for. We're releasing this in beta since LinkedIn occasionally has unexpected behavior, but we're excited to get it into your hands early.

ℹ️ Since LinkedIn runs locally on your device, this feature isn't available on web.
