We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned and we’d love to do our best to make your transition out of your Clay subscription as smooth as possible.
Refund Eligibility
While our Terms of Use state that all fees are non-refundable, we're able to offer a refund for any payments made in the last 7 days, provided your account hasn't had any activity during that time.
To help you navigate our refund process, here are a few guidelines to keep in mind:
- We send reminder emails when your trial is about to end, so make sure to cancel your subscription if you decide Clay isn't the right fit for you. We count on you to manage your subscriptions actively!
- While no app is perfect and technical hiccups can happen, please understand that we're unable to issue refunds for these issues.
- We can't issue refunds for times when there's been activity on your Clay account.
How to request a refund
If you believe you're eligible for a refund, send us a message at care@clay.earth using the email address associated with your Clay account with the last 4 digits of your payment method and a quick description of your refund request.
Apple App Store Subscribers
If you pay for Clay through the Apple App Store, you will have to ask Apple for a refund because they handle all transactions in their App Store. We do not handle your purchase so we can’t issue any App Store refunds ourselves. You can find Apple's refund policy here.
Approved Refunds
If you're on a monthly subscription, you'll receive a refund for the past month's payment. If you're on an annual subscription, you'll receive a full refund of the annual subscription. In both cases, as listed above, if it's been more than 7 days since your payment we unfortunately won't be able to issue a refund.
It typically takes about 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your bank statement and refunds will always be returned to the payment method you used to make the payment — we don't send refunds to a payment method other than the one you had on your account.
ℹ️ If you've requested a refund, you might also want to consider canceling your subscription to avoid any future charges.
