Requiring a valid credit card to access the platform allows us to filter out illegitimate users and prevent nasty stuff like spam and bots that take advantage of our data enrichment pipeline.
If you don't feel comfortable sharing your credit card details, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- You can easily cancel your subscription with the click of a button before the end of your 14-day free trial, and you'll never be charged at all. Just go to Settings > Profile > Subscription Plan, and select "Cancel Plan" to downgrade to our free Clay Personal plan.
- We use a best-in-class payment processing service (Stripe) to handle all transactions, so we never store, and can never see, your credit card details.
