Clay is carefully designed to help you be more thoughtful with people.

Almost everyone intuitively understands the importance (and positive impact) of thoughtfulness towards others. However, it's difficult, effort intensive, and time consuming to be conscientious all the time. We wanted a more streamlined and sustainable approach for thoughtfully keeping in touch with our ever-growing network. And after searching and searching for something better, we built it ourselves.

Clay is a relationship manager that imports everyone you know from your email, calendar, social media, and more. Clay then allows you to search your contacts, take notes, set reminders, and much more.

How Do I Become a Clay affiliate?

1. Create an Affiliate account

   Create a Clay affiliate account here using our partner Rewardful. This platform allows you to self-serve, manage and track payouts.

2. Start promoting Clay via your channels

   Share your unique affiliate link with your audience through your website, blog, social media channels, or any other platforms you prefer.

3. Earn a one-time, $50 commission for each paid customer who comes through your link

   When your followers sign up to Clay and buy a plan within 60 days of their first click on your link, you’ll receive the commission.

At the moment, our commissions are only applicable to new members who purchase the Pro Plan.

FAQ

1. How long does the cookie last?

   The cookie lasts 60 days, if a visitor uses your link to sign up for a paid membership within 60 days of clicking a link, you get credit.

2. When are affiliates paid?

   Affiliate partners are paid on the 1st of the month. First commissions are eligible to be paid out after 90 days.

3. How can I track my commissions?

   You get a dashboard to see all your stats and payments via Rewardful.com, a software we use to manage our affiliate program.

4. What happens if a customer refunds, upgrades, downgrades, or cancels their subscription with Clay?

   Rewardful.com automatically calculates and adjusts for different subscription scenarios.

5. Who can join?

   Anyone can join, but you’ll be most successful if you have an established audience who is interested in managing and deepening their relationships with software.

6. What is the payment option?

   PayPal is our payout option for partner commissions. You will need a PayPal account to qualify for this program.

Terms & Conditions

We introduce programs such as this in good faith and expect the same good faith in return. Please note that we may withhold awards where we believe affiliates are acting in bad faith or otherwise acting contrary to the intent of this program.

We cannot cover every nefarious scenario, nor will we attempt to, but we promise to be fair and reasonable.

A few simple guidelines:

1. Self-referrals are not allowed.
2. Abuse or gaming will result in having your account banned.
3. No search engine ads (especially on Clay branded terms or domain names), Facebook ads, or other ads to our website, your website, or other owned media that would compete with our own marketing and cause potential confusion for customers.
4. No pretending to be acting on behalf of us. (i.e: as an employee or owner of the business)
5. We reserve the right to exclude referrals that seem suspicious, churn within the 90-day window, or have low usage.
6. We reserve the right to change the Terms & Conditions for our affiliate program at any time, and we will update our partners accordingly should this change occur.

We reserve the right to terminate your affiliate account for violation of any of the rules at our sole discretion. Commissions generated by mechanisms that are in violation of our Terms of Service will not be paid or owed.
